Real men play Hokuto no Ken.  >:(

You and Mizuki don't count as "real men"

Better than not counting as a real human being.

To be honest at this point there are only 3 of us that are still into the Melty scene here in Sac (the rest are waiting for Actress Again). If you'd still like to play sometime what's a good day for you? Because of the State budget crisis I've recently been laid off from work so my schedule's pretty open for the time being. lol

Sure! I'd still love to play if that's alrighty. I start school next week however, but I'm available after 2:00 Monday - Friday. And I'm usually available on weekends (moreso Sundays than Saturdays since Smash takes a lot of my Saturdays up).

Blaaaze

Some day you need to come down with Satsujinki, and everyone else to the Bay Area, and Bring Arcana HEART with you dammit!

I want revenge for all the garbage Mei-Fang death I got at SJSU that long time ago ></

P.S. SVGL has a ghetto Hokuto no Ken cabinet next to the Marvel Machine now. lol 1 credit a play.

Hey, is there anyone in Sac that's still here?  :slowpoke:
Arguing on which FF game is best doesn't make sense to me.  It feels like you might as well be picking out who's the best schoolyard ball player of the kids who didn't get picked for either team.

Okay, so here's something for you MB people to chat about rather than commuting to dustloop.  I figured this scene extends to the edge of the Sac crew; so talk, commute, and find opportunities to fire it up.

Here's the deal; I'm going to commute between Meltybread and Dustloop.  If you - exclusively - post in MB, then I'll only update your name in this thread and vice-versa.  If you post on both forums, then I'll leave your name on here.

What the? Where was this thread when I was playin' MBAC?

Anyways, I'm DJcream possibly the only serious Melty Blood player in Stockton. If there's any sessions being planned in Sac, I can make some buses up there.

Alrighty guys.  Just 6 days away from our first MBAA ranbat.  I thought that this accumulated more hype than I expected; so I added some additional IMPORTANT information on the tournament.  Take a lookie and you'll see.  :3

Despite having played MB for a few years now and netplaying with casuals on /jp/, #meltanjp, and #meltyblood-active, I still haven't placed a single post here.  Registered since 2008 too.

On a side note, my parents recently moved from the MB-less community of Modesto to Sacramento, so I guess I'm more with this crowd.

Unfortunately, I go to college at Chico (that's deep NorCal), so it doesn't really even count.

I guess I'll go home and drop by any Sac gatherings if they happen.

lol what sac mb gatherings...

I don't think many of us play MB up here.  There are a few people interested, but I don't know how many people we could get at a MB only gathering.

Throw in some SF4 and maybe even Smash (blasphemy) and people will come.

This will be some form of promotion.

Fuck Street Fighter 4!  Just saying.
I got Actress Again last week and I'm at Sacramento State. If anyone wants to come over, you're welcome to.

Address: At my room in Jenkins Hall at the Residence Halls at Sacramento State. 6012 J Street (if you need Google maps) You'll need to call me to get inside, though.
Time: whenever I'm there and not busy with homework. Call me first.
date: same as time.

Dunno Arvoyea. I don't have anything planned right now, but Spring Break is around the corner so I might drop into Sac then. I'll hit you up on Facebook if I have anything definite planned.

Sadly I can't make that since I have work on the 6th. =[ Right now, the only thing I planned on going to right now is Evo.

Great, GREAT, news guys!  The ranbat is now 100% fully functional and ready to go.  Everything you need to know (from parking to carpooling to refreshments to setups) will be answered in our event thread.

http://www.meltybread.com/forums/tournaments-and-events/reviving-nor-cal-bringing-back-the-guilty-brood-(season-2-2610)/msg64944/#msg64944

I have a favor to ask here from anyone who knows how to split cables n' such.  I want to showcase the top 8 from MBAA/GGAC on the large screen HDTV.  Of course, we're not going to run the tournament on that TV, but I want to split it between the tube TV and the HDTV.  Doing so will allow you to watch matches anywhere within the room.  Will anybody be able to lend equipment or know how to follow up on this task?  If so, then can I count on you bringing it?
