Hello socal(@AI) Im pretty much new to MB&MB.com i've only been playing for maybe 6 months and was introduced to it through a friend of mine and started with MBAC shortly after i was told there is still a scene to it, i watched tsukihime (still haven't read the graphic novel though) then i got my ps2 back and burned the ISO (3 days ago) so im searching for "my" characters again.

But i am no stranger to AI, "YAY pop'n music & IIDX" im just not close. but i'll be visiting the arcade at least twice a month, and it would be pretty cool to run into players. At least it would be better than a random battle with no conversation afterwards.

Not many people actually play @ AI, and iirc the 2p side is broken. Most of the more active players go to Bellreisa's house in Temecula during the weekend, so you should definitely try to make it out to those sessions.

the people that play at AI that are any good are kryo and numakie anyways. both are usually too lazy to do weekend sessions. fair warning, mbaa arcade is different from ps2, and ps2 is the current standard. also ai sticks are iffy. feel free to come down if you can get a ride (see other socal thread)

anyone else going to be there? my friend Bluescreen is telling me to bring my ps2 and MBAA, but i wanna play IIDX and pop'n music most of the time.
but yeah, besides that if anyone here will be at AX lets meet up, i dont think it'll be hard to spot me. I'll be the only Black guy wearing light gray and blue with a 'Lockerz' t-shirt (probably playing IIDX all day)
