The tourney matches from last week have been cross-posted here: http://www.youtube.com/socalmeltyblood
This page will most likely contain future SoCal MB matches including the ones that will be saved this weekend.

As for the gathering on Saturday, I'm leaning towards starting at 4 pm. Either tomorrow or Thursday, I will PM the address to those who are coming for sure. If you're tentative and decide that you will come in the end, then PM me for the address. Depending on the turnout, it will most likely be round robin (ie. everyone plays against everyone in a 2/3 set) and the number of wins will be tallied up at the end.

Well, the main tv in the house is busted and it doesn't have s-video so chances are we're not going to be using that. If anything, we'll be relying strictly on monitors and laptops. So, a list of things to bring:

converters, laptops, power strips, speakers (if you're bringing something other than a laptop), monitors, sticks/controllers.

If I rearrange everything there should be enough space for all of this. I'm guessing 4 complete setups should be enough. Post up if you can donate a setup with any of the above materials.

Judging by the possible turnout, round-robin seems far too unfeasible. Looks like it'll be brackets again. Single or double elim,  whichever the majority agrees upon.

I suppose to make things a little easier, if you are 100% guaranteed to attend, send me a PM asking me for the address and I will reply.

Reminder about tomorrow:

If you are 100% guaranteed to attend, PM me (or msg me on aim or msn) for the address and I will send it to you.

List of equipment: converters, laptops, power strips, speakers (if you're bringing something other than a laptop), monitors, sticks/controllers.

Starting time is 4 pm. Tournament will be conducted later in the evening. Double/single elim depending on what the majority decides. Entry fee, possibly $1. Ending time is around midnight.

Respect my house and everything will be fine.

Roughly 11-12 people total. Bring those laptops and power strips! The more setups we have the better.

Hi guys I am moved in my house now and I have a gameroom set up with two 32" CRT TVs s-video cables and lots of chairs but I am really far south of everyone the house is in Temecula which is like 60 miles south of Walnut so I dunno if anyone wants to drive all the way down here just for locals but if you do lemme know cause I kinda made the gameroom to be used by people

Soon it will have its own PC so you can play Melty on the TVs head to head if you want or hook a second thing up to the other TV or a PS2 or whatever

What's good nyeuggah

Temecula is quite the drive for a lot of us  :slowpoke:

It would take me about 1 hour 21 mins, up to 2 hours 40 mins in traffic according to googlemaps D:  :slowpoke:

Temecula is about an hour drive from Irvine. That's quite a trip. x_X I have family friends out there but we don't visit them regularly because of that. I think in order for any of us to make the trip down there cost efficient, carpooling is a MUST and our stay would ideally be for a good portion of the day. :psyduck: This means that should we decide to head down there, we'd need to plan this well in advance and plan it well. However, I do recommend that American Melty III be held down there if possible. :-X It seems like a convenient place in terms of not having to worry about parents being around, but the location just seems to offset that. :-\

You guys complain about 1 hour... I've done that for casuals at least 3-4 times so far. BTW, the drive to Temecula for me would be 2 hours 34 minute. Up to 6 hours in traffic. Ouch.
