Yo, I'm out of town this weekend since the Houston/Austin guys are not coming. Going to CT to play.

Talk to pfhor or denthorn(aka pat) about whats going on. I think they want to go to frigid's in Dallas.
Or look up the info on the DFW thread on dustloop. I'm pretty sure frigid posted something about this weekend there.

I'm trying to take off one of the weekends here at work soon. They've been giving me Sundays off, but I don't know for how long. I got in touch with another friend who loves Melty and he's going to try to bring one of his friends too.

Are you free on weekends, Skwuck? As soon as I get confirmation, I'll keep you posted on what weekend we can go to Denton.

It's prolly best if you guys decide on a weekend to come up and just tell us when. It'll prolly be too long waiting for a weekend where everyone here can show up and you all can make it here.
So just tell us when you can make it up and we'll do our best to be there.

Yeah, most weekends, pretty much any, I should be free. Shouldn't be too much of a problem and I can always bring any work I need to do with me.

This weekend in Denton we'll be playing on Saturday at Pat's at 3pm. I'm going to record stuff.
I'll post up some match vids once I get my editing software installed (lacking a CD-ROM drive,

), and the rest will prolly be used for my 'special project'...

lol yeah and my complete failure at back dashing them (Although now I forget if it's Tohno's or Nanaya's you have to back dash...). I think some of those are in there. I was kinda way less picky and paid less attention to what I was uploading by then, so maybe I'm not sure.

Jump tohno's backdash Nanaya's AAD only if you're in fmoon. if that's too hard just airgrab the top one.

Great news! I found melty players here in Houston. There are people here, its just that they stick to Facebook and not to forums (not even the srk forums). What surprised me most is that Kensou plays melty. I can't wait to play them soon. Hopefully some of those guys will come to Denton.

That's really good to hear that you found local people to play. If more than 4 people come up, I'll have to consider where we are going to house people.
I might see if I can move the location to my mom's house in NRH. It'd save you about a hour drive on the way up, and I have way more room there.
I'd just have to get the okay from my mom to use the space for a weekend. Let me know when you know how many people are coming with you.

So far it's looking like Skwuck and myself in one car, and another friend from Fort Worth and his friend(s). Not sure how many people he's bringing, but if I find someone from Houston who's willing to go, it'll most definitely be over four people coming.

Looks like this weekend will be a Sunday meet-up in Denton at Pat's at 3pm.

I might be a little late to this one. My dad has invited me to go see the NASCAR race this weekend. There are races on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I can't skip out on my dad here, so yeah. Me is late...

Sunday's the big race, and starts at like 12-1pm. So I should, hopefully be back by 5-6pm.

Good news. We can use my mom's house for this gathering and for housing on the weekend of the 19th.

I have cats there. So if anyone is allergic, let me know.
As of now, my mom has requested 2 things:
- Stay out of her room.
- Don't raid the wet bar, pantry, kitchen, or fridge for food and drink.
All the food and drinks there are not mine, so I can't give them out. But I'ma buy some stuffs, and the things too.

There are 9 spots for sleeping, and everyone else gets floor space. Bring a pillow and a blanket. I don't have enough for everyone.
We'll see how many people show up.

The most that will possibly show up from DFW is: 9
Possible amount from Houston/Austin: 4

Update on my end, there's a likely chance that I won't be able to make it out that weekend, as much as I'd really love to, fff. Group project happening and it's due the following Monday. So we'll see, but I dunno yet. I'll let you know ahead of time if anything changes though, just giving this slight heads up. Either way, this gathering sounds really awesome, and I hope it ends up amazing. :3

Well, we have 3 cats there. I can put them up in the pantry for the weekend and clean the house. But if it's too much for you, then I think we can find another place for you to sleep.
I'm not too sure what the weather is going to be like, but I do have a garage with a good amount of space. We could put the set-ups out there if need be. There is also a couch/bed out there.
But, chances are it will be real cold at night by then.
