yeah, I picked up a preorder. haven't heard anything about it shipping yet though, I assume it'll go out this weekend at least.

'course silly me doesn't own a laptop, but at least the tower I have can use TE's.

Although he did not tell me if he was or not, and I therefore could not tell him to get me one too..., Pfhor did go to JP a few days ago, and I think he'll be there through the new year. So I would not be surprised if he comes back with a copy of the game.

If you guys have MBAA:CC, I would mosdef be able to swing through. That might even be enough to convince even more Houston players to drop down too, since I know a majority of them are sleeping on MBAA until CC drops.

Finally played some awesome local talent here last night. There's actually quite a few amazing players! I'm quite happy to say the melty scene is beginning to blossom here again (even though I wasn't around when it was blooming lol).

Just wanted to let Denton, DFW, and Austin players know that there's a tournament for the game on February 11th at the Test Your Skills event. I'd love to see everyone show up and rep Melty!

I enjoyed being out in Austin but the military moved me out to the Desert part of TX. (El Paso). I'll post here more often when I get back in the heart of Texas or anywhere worth viewing.

I like it. I think I've been in training mode for like more time than I was in MBAA already. I think I'm switching to F-Warc at this point. She got hella buffs, but is still pretty bad at pressure, like me.

For me, I'm probably going to stick with Ryougi even though she's been hit with the nerf bat. I've always liked Aoko too. I'm not sure what character would be a better fit.

Why not H-VSion? While I have no trouble executing VShi combos, I don't like her play style and am not good at trying to play it. Her moves aren't active enough, nor have enough block stun for my liking (they prolly don't need to have those...).

Why F-Warc? I love her 63214C, and her 5A, and her 2B, and her 2C, and her air rings, and her rekka, and her oki, and her damage, and I just have more fun playing her in general. I like that she is not H-Moon. Her mix-ups are simple, her combos are simple, everything about her is pretty simple. I like that I can play more cautiously with her. I do wish that she had a faster low, and air teleports. And I wish she had a faster special. But those wishes aren't very realistic. Except the air teleports. Where are they?

I kinda wish she had good pressure too.

Fwarc pressure is ok, it just forces alot of lvl 0--- which can make it for higher level play yeah but i wouldn't call her pressure bad at all.

Also yeah i didn't really think your style suited hvsion either so seeing you want to switch is a good idea, imo. Just be careful of the deadlock of switching characters and make sure not to miss Vsion easy AA, damage, and comeback factor. But if you stick with your guns I can see you pulling through with some interesting tech. Good luck

Nice to see that it isn't. I'm not sure how many people will come. There is interest in the Austin community for the game so a couple of the guys should show up. I would think. I really hope to see you there Skwuck. Lets get in some good games

Skwuck I got the suggestion that I should start at least 5pm. So yeah feel free to come earlier. Then we will probably hit the arcade at around 9pm.
