Yeah, that's my bad. If you want to come up again, I'd like to coordinate with OK and Austin so we can kinda come together at the same time. I know KosMos said he was coming down sometime this month?

I might try and see if we can set-up a, like, Texas Meet-Up, in like Austin, that way it kinda cuts the drive time for you guys in Houston, and it's kinda central to all of us. I don't think it's really fair to have you guys drive up 8 hours every time you wana come play with us. But housing is going to be an issue. Prolly something to start thinking about for later in the year. Or we can set-up a Bi-Monthly type thing? Let me know what you guys think about that idea.

Well chances are I'm going to show up for the Bar Fights Test your Skills thing in Houston on Feb 11th. I've yet to mention it to anyone else in DFW to see if they'd be interested in going though. So I'll have to get back to you when classes start and we all get our schedules for the semester.

Good shit denton at hyping melty at the dallas meetup. Ya'll generated a good amount of interested among the kof/blaz players.
I dunno how much effort I'll put into it due to school and other fighters coming up, but I will definitely play ya'll more in melty when you come to meetups and I will check out ciel as recommended.

yeah LA melty players eagerly await news of the next get together...theres a solid group of ppl trying to get it in on this game...

also LA will be having a tournament for Mardi Gras Weekend...and there will most certainly be lots of melty among the others mvc3/kof/sf4/sc5 etc

So uh, I know I'm a little late but. I just kinda realized that I might need a ride maybe. At least it'd be convenient. So if anyone is possibly able to pick me up near the campus that's going to this that would be pretty helpful. Otherwise I'll still try to make it there via nearest bus, hopefully I won't get lost.

You said you'd be going to the arcade afterward? Could I possibly catch a ride with you on the way back? Or someone.

Lets make it 2 weeks from now. So CPhame has a better chance of making it out.

Also, I'll have to post again about Denton/DFW gathering this weekend. Pat tells me he might not be able to host tomorrow after all, so it may be Sunday, but I have not confirmed it yet.

I should say, that if it's going to be two weeks from now we might as well meet up at the Test Your Skill tournament that's going on the weekend after (three weeks from now). It's hard enough already to ask for one Saturday off, let alone two.

Plus my nephew's birthday is a month away, and it's an absolute must for me.

I don't know. I'd say that it'd be up to Kos Mos. Just come down when you want/can. We will play. If you can come down to Houston with us for Test Your Skills, great. If Not, that's fine too.
If CPhame can't make it up when Kos Mos can come down, oh well. Lets just play Melty when we can, with who we can.
I'll leave it to you guys to tell me who's doing what, when.

just to let u guys know, BFTS3 is in New Orleans for Mardi Gras on Feb 18, there will be a melty corner with some solid players...ill keep you guys posted but if the person comes who said he may be coming, i think you guys will want to come and get some games with us

Oh and, I've been told that Texas Showdown (an EVO 2012 qualifier) will be hosting a MBAACC side tournament at Anime Matsuri. I think they're making me run brackets for them (I seem to be the default person to go to when it comes to running Melty in Houston because of my tower lol)

For people around the Dallas Area, we are going to be bringing Melty to the House of Goons on Friday (tomorrow). This is basically the fighting game central meetup for North Texas, and they play all the popular games as well as some obscure things from time to time. Tim's gonna bring his laptop and we will have a Melty Setup for anybody to jump on who wants to try the game out. It starts around 8pm and basically goes on all night, not sure how long we are gonna stay.
