I want to know more about Sphyra.  Is he from the Toronto MB scene?  I remember a dude on IRC named Katie talking about how Toronto MB is serious business.  And I remember seeing vids on YouTube from G3Evolution, which is the name of fighting game group/arcade/scene/or whatever in Toronto.

Man, this game is getting hype.  F you guys.  Making me wanna come back.  And when I see people like Brandon who lives in Ohio with no serious local competition taking 1st, it makes me realize that I just need to cowboy up and play the effing game if I want to get better.

Damn, "hype" doesn't even begin to express what we had at NEC.  We OWNED the Marvel community!!! 

Seriously, during the finals, almost the entire room was drawn by that MBAC hype!  Marvel only had like 8 players, 3rd strike had like 4, and GGAC had like 3... everyone else was either playing in the Arcana tournament or watching MBAC (we talking like 50+ people!!!)!

MBAC's making a comeback, and this time... it's FOR REAL!!!

Sphyra is from Montreal (no scene whatsoever, pure netplay warrior)

GG's all! Me and Sion had a lotta fun playing and stuff, and the matches were hella hype!

Wish there were more people who played here...=/

GG's to everyone i faced in the tourney:
(dont remember the name of the Nanaya player i faced first round who i also played in the SC2 tourney, but GG's)
-Zaelar using those crazy high level Yomi layers  :o
-Dippy for another intense match
-Lord Knight for a fun match that could have gone either way
-Choco for using me as a training mode dummy

And everyone i played in casuals, zar, brandino, etc. Seeing all the high level playing there really really makes me wanna start playing more...
