I was really disappointed when I missed last year.  I really want to go this year, but am in an even worse financial situation...Must make it work somehow.  Anyone else on EC want to do some pooling to make hotel/transportation somehow easier?

Larry, if the hotel nets persist, could I interest you in a stream for AH3/Melty outside of the top 8? I saw that they did a side stream at NEC for these games and it went really well into communicating with Sp00ky that the top 8 matches will be on their stream. I am for certain the scene can put their resources together to make a decent stream for these games.

Also, I don't think I registered properly for a judge. Is there a protocol I have to do in order to pre-register for just the games I'm participating in?

Please go there to get all of the info you need on FR14.  If you have an idea for an unofficial tournament please post it in the FR14 forums.  If you are going to attend FR14 please get a room at the event hotel.  Getting a room at the event hotel helps me get a discount on the ballroom.  We have a hotel discount for the rooms at the Hilton.  I think the normal price is $100+ at this hotel, but it changes by seasons.  The Final Round special rate for the rooms are $89.00 per night!!! 

This special room rate will end at feb 28, 2011.  I reserved 100 rooms for the Final Round event to make sure we have enough rooms reserved for our event.  Goto this page  FinalRound.org - Home of the largest fighting game tournament in the Southeast! and click on the green "FINAL ROUND Reservation Page" link to goto the official Hilton reservation page for FR14.  March will be here before you know it, so get your rooms and pre-reg online for the games you plan to compete in at FR14 as soon as you can!  I can't wait to see old faces and meet new people at this years event!
