Needless worries.

There are USB adapters that make the PS3 controllers Plug & Play. Was at a tournament just a few days ago and people plugged PS3 controllers into my laptop without issues.

Why the fuck do people want a console version anyways? With consoles you are guaranteed shitty load times, bad compatibility with controllers, ass netplay (if any), and the hassle of inserting that fucking disc and turning on the machine every fucking time.

PC = Double click the icon and you're in Melty HEAVEN.

Because pro players have a lesser win percentage with him against other characters than they have with Ciel n' stuff.
Doesn't matter though, as long as you don't have a sponsor and need wins to feed yourself.

well, some places in North and South America supposedly have local scenes where they play Actress Again, but i doubt you'll get a whole lot of action with that game unless you have a close circle of friends who also play it.

Act Cadenza on the other hand was released for the far superior platform -- PC.
Thanks to the MBcaster we can still play this game against other people all day, every day, and it's not hard at all to find opponents

The emulator program has it's own "memory card", this is either stored in the main folder, or some other place (like my documents). don't think too much about this one, just save your game when you feel like it, it works.

To use your PS3 controller you need to install the SIXAXIS driver. Use google to find the appropriate version for your OS.

Was just at a store where i negotiated to buy a laptop from them, if i could first confirm that MBAA runs flawlessly on PCSX2 on it.
Already works perfectly on my desktop, so i know it shouldn't be that much of a problem.

Need it if I'm gonna bring the game to tournaments and casuals. Norway's biggest fighting game event is coming up and I'm gonna have fun with Melty while waiting for the boring games to end.

One of my favorites despite what some people may say about the "conditions" for both players prior to the event, I was jumping out of the computer chair when I saw this on stream last year.

One of my favorites as well. One of the very few I've downloaded and saved.

EDIT: i also like most of Zar's old Aoko stuff.

Seems all my favorite Melty moments include Aoko. Good for motivation since I'm a devoted Blue player now.

Some character variety would be appreciated. Been watching a lot of matches lately but it's really boring 'cause all i ever see is Nero, Kohaku and Satsuki (Somebody play some Arcueid please!).

If you could refrain from pronouncing character names with an American accent that'd be nice. It's hurtful whenever i hear "Sæætskii", "Niirow" and "Kowhæku".

No clue. You might wanna try getting a hold of another installer, or test it on another computer.

I've never tried it on anything other than XP, so i can't say whether or not installing on a newer OS is supposed to work.
I do however know that installing it on XP and dragging the folder over to a newer system does work.

I doubt it's the OS though, since you aren't having any problems installing the game.

By the way, I would like to play competitive but the scene in Argentina is very little (or null) sadly .

Get Act Cadenza and play over caster if you want human opponents.
You can also get some local people hooked through netplay, then proceed to arrange gatherings for Actress Again if you manage to spark enough interest.

I've had SOME success with this, though i still need more people in order to have a "scene".
