since you pulled them out your gonna have to add resistors

you can use toodles instructable here to help you

http://www.instructables.com/id/SUFL7JAFH9HU5T5/

just in case you don't understand that(kinda hard not to), basically the thumbsticks themselves are kinda like resistors, thats how they determine the direction. With 0 resistence on the x-axis and 0 resistence on the y-axis, its gonna move left and up.

heh maybe ex guard will also give more meter as well(or make it like Guilty Gear and increase the amount of meter you gain when you gain meter).

but god that block bar is gonna be a nuisance, is there any confirmation that the gauge is refilled when not blocking.

unfortunately this whole idea of having the guard bar is gonna be pretty much, "if you don't learn how to instant block, you can't make it to the top leagues (unless your constantly on an offense, lol MBAC vakiha)

by the way, in your opinion is MBAA more or less fun than MBAC

all these changes are dramatic, but it questions whether its for the better or worse(i really don't like the fact they moved the max to 200%, sounds like they just did that to make circuit spark more available faster)

edit: whoops max 200% just for half moon, lol who's gonna play half-moon

like i said, if you could execute it like 99% go for it

however doing that is somewhat risky as

a.) you gotta do the 214a at a certain time(this is literally like 1 frame frc, cause when you land the 22c it should have to hit them before they can tech out) which goes into
b.) hope that 22c with its last hit lands as well(for the wall slam)
c.) different characters have different timing on this whole combo
d.) if you mess up, you lose your 4 way mixup oki (sacchins strongest point), and won't get as much damage if you were to do it the old fashion way(since we're talking about midscreen)

obv. once you figure out the first 2, then you can pretty much do the infinite as well

obviously you guys havn't seen this

its around 12:45

85
get a cheap video card that meets mb requirements

as rayza said

save up money and determine how much you want to save up. as the months and years go by, you should have at least enough to build a computer that's considered decent by that time but godlike in the past

hopefully your budget will be able to get you a pc good enough to play

DIABLO III, FUCK YEAH!!!

86
actually those three boxes do nothing but disable information being shown in the windowed screen

uhhhh actually im not really sure what the 3rd option does

Standard is you can switch, but you have to use the same character for the next game in a set if you won the previous game.

How is it understandable in teams but not singles?  It's the exact same situation.

its as zaelar says, the standard is 2/3 games throughout the whole tounrey except for finals(which is 3/5).

during character select of the first game, most people just pick the character they wanna play(they may pick anyone regardless of who they picked in their last match against someone else), however any player may, if they want, to make character selections secret, in which both players tell someone(usually a judge or someone of equal status) who they want as a character. they pick the character they told the judge and the judge make sures they pick that character.

okay so the first game goes on and eventually someone wins that game. so game 2 begins, and the loser of that round may chose to chose a different character(however most people don't cause real men should be the master of their 1 only character and no other character). the next game is played and this step is repeated(loser of that game gets to switch character if he wishes.

one advances and the other goes to losers(standard is double elim) or eliminated. the one who advances(or the one who is losers) plays against his next opponent and both players get to pick any character they want
for that first game

why are we even talking about 2v2, unless you mean SBO 2v2 style(not team play lol, team play)

explanation with sacchin

NOOOO you bastard D: There was already enough pros that bara 2c, now the whole world knows. god i gotta find new blockstring that don't involve 2c.(okay so what if i reverse using 5a practically everytime after 2c when opponent is in a blockstring)

read through all the topics that tell you what fun you can do with sacchin(srs, mods, just sticky choco's thread on the win of sacchin)

remember: SHE IS A BEAST

BurstOfAnger: do what you want for otg after the 623b. just make sure your execution with it is 99.9%(cause we all know theres always that tiny bit of chance you'd fuck up). hell the japs don't even add 214a after the 623c>2c5c(americans do hah hah :D), cause they'd rather get the knockdown and 4 way mixups at 100%, then to screw up and say got the airthrow way to high, and 4 way mixup doesn't work that time

i normally wouldn't use 623 except for the a version because i feel its just far too unsafe if whiffed, i use it only when i know i can get them, and usually they don't expect it/they fly around too much. Also i prefer 4k damage rather than reduced damage

632146 is amazing, you just gotta know when to use it. lrn and luv it and make your opponent understand you have another option and fear that option(well make sure they don't know it at first, in most cases they don't).

as for the bnb thing, that why people don't try to finish their bnb as a blockstring, they simply use something more safe, and aoko's 123 isn't the easiest to bara. i rarely see a decent sion player EVER use 3b in their blockstring

I suggest going with choice 1

as for j.b or j.c it depends. j.b should be used more with iad because of its range and speed(and fucks ppl up alot). j.c i think is best to catch someone off gaurd, and imo it has pretty good range

use j.b/j.c generally when your opponent is on the ground, and probably j.a(or air grab) if both are in the air, or if your opponent is on the ground but you already very close to them and havnt done anything yet
don't try to use j.b for CH imo, i usually get CH'd instead

btw power is useless if the attack doesn't go in
just my 2 cents, experiment for what you feel is best. everyone has a different style for the air attacks(i actually prefer to use j.a over j.b a lot of times)

lol zaelars small graphical representation is actually quite helpful

anyways found this on dustloop, i think the same can be applied to MBAC

http://www.dustloop.com/ggac/data/hitstun.html
"Hit Stop"
"When an attack connects in Guilty Gear, the players pause briefly to make moves appear more powerful visually. For the player, this actually gives you an extra large amount of time where you can buffer inputs for moves. In addition, this is extra beneficial for charge characters (May, Venom) because it gives them extra time to charge moves, allowing them to perform some combos that would normally not seem possible.

Hit Stop only effects the people involved in being hit. Projectiles, for instance, cause hit stop only on the projectile and the person being hit by the projectile (not the person who fired it). This also means that if a projectile is active on the screen and then one player hits the other with a melee attack, the projectile continues to move even while the players are in Hit Stop."

its a perfect place for casuals, and like 1 tourney but its no good for running more than two tourneys at the same time. i doubt i can hold 40+ ppl as well.

edit: probably just better off at someone's house or a mall

sorry if this is major late, but i thought i might as well post in case others are having problems as well

solution:
http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=45209

it should work okay after that

95
lol i was stuck on the AH2 supergun setup

it was pretty much after i was done playing my match i go wait for my turn to play AH2:D

96
lol im not sure but im pretty sure that even if your not in a block string you can cancel shield bunker so long as your in hitstop(isn't hitstop the time when you go into a block animation if you were holding back and your opponent uses an attack that hasnt hit you yet?) although its useless to do it at that time

Melty Blood Auditorium / Re: Custom sticks?

it depends on what tools you have, obviously with alot of useful power tools the better stix you can make

usually its about 50-60 for buttons/stix. Using this tutorial where you don't have a router http://slagcoin.com/joystick/example3.html its about $30 for wood.
Then you have to primer, sand, then paint (bout $6-10)
and other small supplies i might have missed out on (imma guess $10)
so your looking at around $96.00-$120 to build your own custom. Looking at that you can say that multi's customs are really cheap

that website i posted also has amazing information for knowing about building stix
