F-Akiha. She's become somewhat more fun, but I still feel kinda dirty because of some of the shit she has.
Edit:
Ok, to elaborate some...
Bye - This dirty fucker entered like 30 times to increase his chances of winning, but was DQ'd when it was pointed out, so free win on my part.
Chelsey (won) - JP player, not on Garu's level, but he knew how to escape some of my stuff. Played C-Arc in winners, C-Tohno and F-Arc in losers. Put up a fight. Really nice guy, all things considered; said I was a strong player at the end.
MagnusXL (won) - played C-Hisui, I lost one round due to execution failure and silly choices on my part. Solid win.
Lord Knight (got beaten up) - This was saaaaad, but I've never played against a
real H-Kohaku. Can now fully appreciate why that bitch is S-tier. Started to kinda figure out how to fight her in casuals after, but it was too late by then, obv.
Chelsey (won again) - See above.
Pfhor (won) - C-Kohaku; put up a fight.
Abstract (won) - C-Sacchin, lost one match due to Sacchin being Sacchin; his execution on links and stuff was sketchy though; hurt him in the long run.
Sp00ky (won pretty solidly) - I don't know if Sp00ky was intimidated by the giant fish on my stick, thrown off by my more aggressive F-Akiha/different playstyle from Fox, captivated by my luxurious mane, or was having a serious off day or what, but he practically got blown up
I think he took one round, but yeah, it was pretty bad on the whole...
YAT (lost) - Lost to his H-Tohno. I wasn't as free this time as the first time I played him at one of the AMs though; even got complimented for improving
On the whole, I don't think I did
too badly, but was semi-plagued by silly execution errors; some because of the command interpreter, some just stupid shit on my part; maybe slight nerves, I dunno. Either way, would not have saved me in the match with LK, but if I'd been more on the ball, might have had a better showing vs YAT? Probably not enough to beat him though. Seeing as it was my first real MB tourney, I don't think I'm in a position to complain much about how I did.
