@NETPLAY & @Sharkchowder:
For the recent West Toast, the name alone brought Arizona to FFA (least I'd like to believe). That is warrant enough to keep the name as is, IMO. I do agree though that the name West Toast alone is something to live up to. All it needs is someone who is willing to go all out. As for myself, I'm content on supporting the game as of current by playing it in one of the very few arcades that have CC in the US.
On another note, Doesn't West Toast host multiple games, not just MB? I remember when I first came in at WT4 at Interface, MBAC PS2 was the only game I saw with a tournie behind it. Then when it moved to FFA at the later dates, GG was added to the mix of WT's. The recent WT had MBAACC, AH3, GG, BB, and MVC3. My theory is that West Toast started with just MBAC but then later, several other "Airdasher" games were added to support other player interest.
That would be me and my friends. We just happen to plan our trip to FFA on the day of casuals, we knew nothing of casuals whatsoever on Friday nights. I was going to use the time to relearn the game, since I haven't even touched it for about 5+months and I'm new to CC. Regardless it was great playing against new people and not the usual 7 people I play AA with.
I would be going to FFA often for casuals but having no car really sucks, and it's a 1+hr trip. We should be going again sometime this month...so expect to see us again.
So it was a coincidence after all... Sweet.
Well if ya do happen to come down, post here. It helps with the planning ahead.
Also, might as well post here and say hi.
