I have returned to SF for the spring semester. I don't have any friday classes so I intend to continue hosting sessions every friday (unless I say otherwise). First regular session will on the 29th, but I don't have much to do from the 18th-22th so let me know if you guys want to meet up.

There's nothing to fear now.

Okay, so here's something for you MB people to chat about rather than commuting to dustloop.  I'm dropping in between melty bread and dustloop to get the best of both worlds.  :3

Here's the deal; I'm going to commute between Meltybread and Dustloop.  If you - exclusively - post in MB, then I'll only update your name in this thread and vice-versa.  If you post on both forums, then I'll leave your name on here.

So I have finished uploading this week's batch of videos to youtube. I will make a playlist for each week's session, with the date listed prominently to keep things organized. If anybody has a problem the videos (name used or otherwise) or if you see any errors in the players or characters listed in the name or description let me know so I can fix it. Unfortunately I was unable to upload about 20 minutes of Yat vs Snozz because youtube kept giving me an error. A couple of things you guys need to do to make this easier for me: 1) Play 2/3 round matches (while I personally prefer 3/5 rounds over 2/3, I need to be able to break the matches into smaller segments) 2) Change stages when you switch out players, preferably to one with a different color palette (ex. blue to red). One last thing, Sessions now need to wrap up around 1 a.m. and people need to be out completely by 2 a.m. Also no more playing mahjong and listening to enka at the same time  :emo:

Did you try uploading without the upload bar thing? I had some problems uploading before, and when I tried it without the bar, it worked (and uploaded much faster).

Also, I think the video titles should be like "MBAA date player 1 (char) vs. player 2 (char)" and maybe throw Norcal in there somewhere.

Lastly, why must you hate on enka?

I will try that, and change the names to the suggested template tomorrow, the way they are currently was primarily for my own organizational purposes anyways. Nothing wrong with enka (it was quite catchy in fact) but coupled with the mahjong its just too...  :psyduck:

Oh yeah, and if you can't get it uploaded, can you keep the vids on your comp until next week? I'll bring my external, and just grab the files.

Also, the match between me and CT cut off before the match ended.

The enka made the Mah Jong hype for the spectators (me).

Also 2 weeks to the ranbat, we should figure out how we're getting there. I'm down for a mass bus ride to get there if Jeff isn't down to drive. SFSU Bus would be pretty hype.

Edit: We're playing this next Friday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ex6zvLkW0Ls

Looks like I was able to upload it this morning  :mystery:   About the match with CT_Warrior, that last one should not have been on there, rather it should be in another segment, don't worry about it though there will be plenty of footage of you against everybody.
Also since you have so many complaints you can do some of the editing next week :toot:

My stick execution and consistency went up quite a bit!
I really need to resolve to get my own stick once I get enough money.

How much would it cost for a full sanwa-stick?

for a cheap custom...
$25 for the stick
$20 (2.50 x8) for the buttons
~$50 for a case via a cheap local woodworker if he's up to it (Riotblade)
$10 or less ps1ds pcb
which comes out to roughly $100

you can also buy used sticks or get something current ie HRAP3 SA or the TE and mod it

If you're really poor, try and find a stock tekken 5 anniversary stick, they go for like 50 and they're okay for stock, and easy to mod when you want to do it.

If you guys don't have an account on Shoryuken by now, you are not eligible to vote for what which game will be the 7th tournament at EVO. If you do have one, vote for Melty Blood!
