West Coast has NO problems filling the 5 man team.  (If it's just filling the team with names that's easy.  Filling the team with names that are going is harder I guess.)

IF All-Star Arlieth, AI All-Stars Leo/Scott, MB Netplay Champ Psylocke, Some NorCaler Lain/Alt/Magz/etc, Some  OG MBR player bell (lol) / linalys (lolol)

Even with the prospect of losing in the end, Desert Coast would be willing to challenge WC and/or EC for fame or for hype. Mainly the latter.

Yo, I'm fairly new to the community here (I basically lurk on the forum here, but I'm somewhat active on irc) but I'd like to extend an offer to anyone who's up for it.

Evo Vegas is being held at the Green Valley Ranch Casino, which is literally 5 miles from my house.  I walk half way there every time I walk up to my school at the Art Institute of Las Vegas.  I really want to get an opportunity to play the better of the US MB community and get to learn some things from it to improve my game.

So, I'll cut right to the chase.  In my apartment, there are two open couches, a decent sofa chair, and floor space for...about 2 comfortably.  I've already talked with my roomies and they're all cool with it as well, so if anywhere up to 5 people would like to crash here during Evo, the offer's on the table.  I have an import ps2 with MBAC (though no stick unfortunately, so you'll be playing controller unless you bring your own) and there are plenty of places around to get food/drink.  The only requirement is that you'll have to deal with my roomies smoking herb, if you're not a fan.

Anyways, it'll save you out a good bit on hotel charges, and if enough people come we can easily have some friendly play outside of the tourney for practice or just for fun.  Same if enough people want to come have a get together here just before Evo or sometime during, as I'd be more than willing to host a little MBAC party or whatever. (as long as you fools aren't violent drunks or anything. xP)

If you're interested then hit me up on pm/email/msn/aim and we'll get shit set up.  Earlier the better.

I'll figure out a way to get you to my place from the airport.  But other than that, I am definitely 100% sure that I will be doing this.  I already have two of my old friends from Iowa coming down and staying at my place for Evo.  (they're mainly smash players though)  But I definitely have room for two more.  I don't think any more will be able to come down to stay at my place now though.  4 people with a possible 5th is gonna pack my place up pretty heavily.  Try and bring a sleeping bag or a blanket or something, cuz while we have tons of couch pillows for sleeping with, I only have some sheets...no blankets or anything to really soften the floor if people end up sleeping there.  =\

But yeah, lemme know any details of when you're coming and what all you're bringing.  Since this is the only event in vegas basically, I'm trying to help support it as much as possible.  If you wanna talk to me one-on-one, my email/aim/msn are all in my profile here, and I'm on IRC fairly often as well.

You weren't there when I MM'ed MTP for 3k to pay his way to Vegas.  For him that was the premier MB event of the year.

Yo dude, I've extended this offer to others, and so far only Buri is gonna be coming, (other than two of my friends) but I'm opening my apartment up for like one or two more people.  I live right on Green Valley Pkwy, and only like 5 miles (if even that) from the Green Valley Ranch casino.  There will be herb smoking and possible alcohol drinking goin on, so if that is an issue, lemme know.  Also, you'll prolly end up sleeping on the floor, but I have like sheets/blankets and shit that I can supply to help make bedding more comfortable.

Hopefully we can all agree on PC since it's two versions ahead of the PS2 MBAC. But I'm up for either really. If there's a big enough TV and someone wants to bring their PS2, I don't see there being much of a problem for most characters. The more melty setups we have the better, IMO.

i like pc version so far, but my good comboes are still used to ps2 version... hopefully we can get 2 setups going for a mini tournament going.
