Yo, I'm fairly new to the community here (I basically lurk on the forum here, but I'm somewhat active on irc) but I'd like to extend an offer to anyone who's up for it.
Evo Vegas is being held at the Green Valley Ranch Casino, which is literally 5 miles from my house. I walk half way there every time I walk up to my school at the Art Institute of Las Vegas. I really want to get an opportunity to play the better of the US MB community and get to learn some things from it to improve my game.
So, I'll cut right to the chase. In my apartment, there are two open couches, a decent sofa chair, and floor space for...about 2 comfortably. I've already talked with my roomies and they're all cool with it as well, so if anywhere up to 5 people would like to crash here during Evo, the offer's on the table. I have an import ps2 with MBAC (though no stick unfortunately, so you'll be playing controller unless you bring your own) and there are plenty of places around to get food/drink. The only requirement is that you'll have to deal with my roomies smoking herb, if you're not a fan.
Anyways, it'll save you out a good bit on hotel charges, and if enough people come we can easily have some friendly play outside of the tourney for practice or just for fun. Same if enough people want to come have a get together here just before Evo or sometime during, as I'd be more than willing to host a little MBAC party or whatever. (as long as you fools aren't violent drunks or anything. xP)
