I'm a bit in between, to be honest. I appreciate how smoothly everything animates in melty, but sometimes I find myself wishing that it were in higher res, and not simply a 2x scaling of the base sprite.

If no one's mentioned this yet, also take into consideration the amount of reverse-beats you're linking into the combo (from a glance I spot two, 5c -> 6aaa and 2c -> 5b) which will lower your damage. Reverse beat penalty will still be in effect if you start your combo again fairly quickly, thus resulting in inconsistencies.

Secondly, the GSDX zip file you should have dl'd will contain "GSdx-sse2.dll", "GSdx-sse4.dll" and "GSdx-ssse3.dll". Simply extract those to your plugins folder, opting to overwrite the old ones if you wish, and just select it from the configure plugins page.
 If it's not showing up, there are only two possible errors I can think of on the top of my head: Either you haven't installed the VC++ Redist package, or you have two pcsx2 folders for some utterly stupid and bizarre reason.

Ok, so I DL it, and put in PSX2 Plug-in folder, now... why the heck does 1650 GDSX not appear in the choices for selecting graphics plug-in? I can only see some 600, 800 or 1500 Versions of GDSX???

Did you DL the Visual C++ thing at the top of the GSdx page? Is your DirectX up to date (or at least up to March 2009)?

Logic would indicate to try the latest version to see if it works, but if it doesn't work for you, or for whatever reason you are lacking logic and that thought never clicked for you, try rev 1650. That's what I use and it renders the sprites fine.

Is it possible to make it so that when you choose View -> Animate it animates the sprite at the same speed you would see it in-game? Right now most animations happen so fast I can't really see how fast/slow the move really is in-game.
AFAIK, the rendering speed in FrameDisplay is the same as in-game. If it's too fast, either it's meant to be that way in-game or you're viewing junk data.

2a2b5c6aaa2c5b214a5a jbc djbc airthrow/j214a/b/c is actually a viable corner combo imo. The timing has to be so that the later part of 214a hits the enemy as he/she falls. So far doesn't work on Kouma. Anyone willing to test?

Take out that silly ground 214a 5a and I've been practicing it in matches against AI. Was testing it before I read your post :P
2a 2b 5c 6aaa 2c 5b jbc jbc j214c -> 19 hits, 5520 against Ryougi.
2a 2b 5c 6aaa 2c 5b jbc jbc airthrow / j214c -> 13 / 19 hits, 4797 / 5532 on Aoko. First combo off the bat.
2a 2b 5c 6aaa 2c 5b 214a 5a jbc jbc airthrow -> 15 hits, 5031 on Aoko.
Edit: If you can connect all 3 hits of 6aaa, I'm fairly sure it's a combo that can be done anywhere on screen. It'll become corner combo only if you throw in the 214a 5a, I think.

H-Ryougi 5C
F-Ryougi 5C
TO-DO
C-Ryougi: jump forward, jump back, double jump neutral, double jump forward, double jump back, airdash forward, airdash back, 214X, 22X, 236X/214X rekka, 623X, throws, Arc Drives / Last Arc. Attack effects will probably not be ripped unless I find an easier way to do this, due to a significantly higher accuracy problem.
H-Ryougi: TBA

i read it but... i couldn't make it work..., i already put the direction to the pcsx2 and when i put launch and  in pcsx2 when i put execute or open CD/DVD it  tell me this: The GS plug in failed to initiate.
So.. could you help me  please?
Use an older rev of GSdx, and make sure 'windowed' is not selected.
