The thing is, this site has probably made the most breakthrough with ripping MBAA graphics.
Anyway, small update, managed to finish 5C and did 2A / 2B / 2C for C-Ryougi.

@Azrel: For all it's worth, with the Ryogi standing animation posted prior, there's also C-Ryougi 5A, 5B, 6C and H/F-Ryougi 5C. Oh, and crouching is done too.
At this point I'm starting to give up on doing this. Not only is assembling from tiles arbitrary and painstaking, textures also have a habit of cutting out on you. C-Ryougi 5C decides to chop off from the main block and end up elsewhere, of which I have no clue and very little will to find.
EDIT: For what this is worth, I have a strong dislike of leaving projects unfinished. As a result, I may as well finish C-Ryougi, and then the rest will depend on my timetable after that.

@landxhp: How on earth do you apply the alpha channels to the extracted pictures?
Also, for what it's worth, you still have a Tohno Shiki dialogue portrait missing, though you should run across it if you're ripping Ryougi dialogue.

Can someone here Rip Every Fighting Sprites of ryougi shiki in already on a fixed Axis and put them in an archive? thanks! lol, I know it's a big request!  :bleh:
For an absurdly large request like that, I can try, but I guarantee neither correct fixed axis nor correct sprite rip. Sprites are stored via tileing in MBAA.
Off the record, I've noticed both your posts here so far are concerned with requesting game rips of some form. I suggest you go to a MUGEN or a sprite ripping forum to do so, or check around those forums, since really, Melty Bread is more of a game discussion / Type-DISCUSSION, not so much as a sprite rip forum IMO.
EDIT: fixed mental blank

Open up the channels dialog and you'll be able to physically copy/paste the contents of one channel into another. (Unless you have the option of just changing the colorspace from RGB to BGR)
Photoshop will lose the alpha channel, I have no idea how he's doing it now.
Cheers for the RGB tip. Also, I'll need help with 3dripperdx again, it turns out I only get stuff when the program feels like getting it. Any tips on when / where to capture / what to capture?

EDIT: Scratch that, I appear to be having mild success with 3dripper. Now awaitin' on fabulous shinso to tell us how to get alpha working  :psyduck:
EDIT2:
Here are some Ryougi if you wanna try fiddling around with image alpha:
special 1
special 1 alpha channel
special 2
special 2 alpha channel
versus
versus alpha channel

Added Roa.

I wish I had a way to crop a gif without having to guess a good size, it would make this a lot faster.

Do you also want to share your method of extracting these sprites? :P From what I gathered you need 3D Ripper DX but after that it's sketchy.

EDIT: Actually, I've managed to come up with something, but I'm having the same problem that landxhp originally had with the discolourment. How do you flip the red/blue channels in Photoshop (CS4), and how is the alpha channel then applied to the image?

Probably already mentioned, but you're missing one Shiki dialogue portrait that I know of.
It's fairly similar to Shiki's diag1, but his glasses are off and his eyes glow blue. You can come across this one in Ryougi's final dialogue with Shiki in arcade.

Kohaku's Video Room / Re: MBAC newbie combos (my first attempt)

Typically, combos involve an aerial aspect for more damage and added pressure. I suggest learning Nanaya's most basic BnB and then applying it to various other characters in order to make some better combos

Don't you need like 25 posts or something first?
If you do need 25 posts first, that sure as hell explains a lot. Because I don't see any [+HEAT] anywhere :(

Two (and a half) questions:
1. How do I +HEAT someone?
2. Could we get a little more Ryougi love?
2.5. If we can't get a little more Ryougi love, could you post a majority of the steps you used to extract the CG?

Encountered her again, and defeated her this time! Now it's 1:1 :V
Cheers for the heads up on how to encounter. I always thought it was something to do with Arc Drive finishes :P

Ending with j.236 deals more damage, but on the other hand it's techable, while airthrow is guaranteed knockdown

Ah, forgot to mention.
This is from random challenge in C-Nanaya arcade. Not boss rush mode, which is not unlocked on the particular save file I was using for this screenshot.

So is anyone gonna upload the soundtrack since the game is out now?
If its not posted here when i upload mine for a friend i'll slap it up here. Though I ripped it from the ost that came with the game, and my retarded computer was like "Hur hur Unknown Soundtrack Unknown Artist unnamed tracks" and shit -___-

If you need help sorting and naming the files, I'd be more than happy to help.

:V Anyone know any good air combos for Shiki-san?
You could check some other threads in this sub-forum to get an answer but I'll be nice.   C, B, Air jump, C, B, Air Throw.  that along with some 2AA > 2B > 5B > 5A(whiff) > Jump 5C > 5B > Air Jump 5C > 5B > Air Throw is his BnB...I think.

j.B before j.C for no silly reverse beat!

Shiki Nanaya / Nanaya's BnB
« on: October 07, 2008, 03:59:20 AM »
Alright, I'm relatively new to actual comboing, I just used to button mash. Pro-rate, all that razzamatazz, I have no idea what they mean, so if they tie in to my question, feel free to explain.

Standard BnB: 2.AB[C 5.C] jc j.B(2 hits) C jc j.B (2 hits) C airthrow => 3606 (8900) damage on White Len, no criticals. Correction value 38%.

Variant 1: 2.AB[C 5.B] jc j.B(2 hits) C jc j.B (2 hits) C airthrow => 3724 (8300) damage on White Len, no criticals. Correction value 48%.

Variant 2: 2.AB[C 5.AA] jc j.B(2 hits) C jc j.B(2 hits) C airthrow => 3649 (8280) damage on White Len, no criticals. Correction value 48%.

Admittedly, it is a lot easier to simply go 2C 5C, but why is it that no one seems to go 2C 5B, or 2C 5AA? The only other real variant I see is 2C 5CB.

Shiki Tohno / What's the best way to follow up a Shiki Last Arc?
« on: September 29, 2008, 09:43:20 AM »
Okay, so I land a Last Arc on Vermillion Akiha. What's the best method to follow it up? What I normally do is 5c => j.b.c.j.b.c.airthrow for about 6.1k damage, but is there any other more e-penis ++ method that deals more damage? (I can probably charge up the 5c, but I'm not too confident about my timing with blowback edges so I leave them alone. Does it make a big difference?)

Regards,
s4ito.
